I am particularly keen to hear from other people living with lung cancer, and those maintaining blogs that include notes about experience with the disease, any complementary medicine and other support practises, and the perceived health outcomes. I believe that we should all blog if capable, and build a body of informal case studies, which over time might become a valuable resource for anyone facing the disease.

Please don’t ask me about obtaining dichloroacetate! I know nothing about it except what is linked to via these pages and I don’t recommend anyone takes it without medical support. Take time to read all dichloroacete the posts carefully and be sure to follow through the links if you are interested in the subject.

    Hi there!

I stumbled across your blog and just had to contact you.

I also have Stage IV non-small cell lung cancer (adenocarcinoma). I wasn’t diagnosed until I developed brain tumors, have them removed Jan 20th of this year.

I started chemo (carboplatin/taxol) on Feb 21, and recieve it via IV once every 3 weeks (2nd round was March 14). I seem to be within days of your treatment schedule, and have at least one drug in common (carboplatin).

I am trying to maintain a blog (http://stephsbigbadblog.blogspot.com/) as I got tired of repeating myself to friends, family and general well-wishers.

It would be nice to hear from you. I am almost a day behind you – in Portland, Oregon – but feel free to email me.

    Hi Warren,

I am missing you so would like to say hello in any event.

How are you going? My own health is on a bit of a spiral with complications developing around breathing.

I was wanting to do some editing on the junk website and when I went to access the help menu I couldn’t log in to Website Baker or some such.

What are the chances of meeting and even better for an included JUNK meeting. We need to discuss pros and cons etc anyway given our mutual challenges.

Please respond. Your blog page is very good and has the effect of making me feel almost ashamed of my own sloppiness both wregard to JUNK and Parkinsons. Perhaps I should commence on for myself and it may have the effect of putting me more in the driver’s seat.

    Love to see/hear you,

    Jude

    Hello and Happy Birthday WM,

I hope that you have a great day!

Like you, I seriously enjoyed the election, particularly the efforts of (and results achieved by) saint Maxine… Also like you, I feel that I played a small (if not token) part in the result (aside from voting of course) – I sent a long email to Wayne Swan ranting about what I thought the ALP could / should do to win. Wayne had been one of my tutors at QIT in 1976 (a subject fittingly called Government In Australia). Apparently Wayne’s office forwarded my email to the General Secretariat of the party, so maybe someone read it…

All the best for the festive season and through 2008!

My Mom is fighting cancer again and I decided to blog about all the things she and my family are going through. I know it is miserable for her and painful for all of us – and I wish you the best… I really believe a positive attitude will make the difference!
    Hang in there!!

Bye Warren. You were always a good man, not because some religion had blackmailed you with threats of hell but just because you wanted to be good and kind and helpful.

I was with you when the first Lander photographed the surface of Mars. I’m glad you were around when they discovered water there.
